This week hasn't been very note-worthy for me. I bought 95 paperback fantasy (dragons / spells fantasy, not naked booby bitches / swashbucklers fantasy) and sci-fi books last week off of eBay. And 5 more trade paperback comic collections. The Route 666 and Way of the Rat ones by CrossGen were good. I want to get the rest of those series. My order for four of The Mystic comic books (also by CrossGen comics) arrived today. That, I'm looking forward to reading.
If you're wondering what's the obsession with reading, it's because I've decided to sequester myself away for the winter. I'm not going out anywhere or meeting anyone until spring. That way I can drastically reduce my chances of getting the flu or any other communicable disease. Those kinds of stuff can be double-sickening if your immune system is fucked like mine.
Thought about costumes for japanese animation / anime conventions next year. I want to go as a character from The Kids Next Door cartoon. Their enemy team The Delightful Children from Down the Lane. His name's Lenny and he's the one who wears the red football helmet and blue uniform. It would be nice to find some other KND characters to hang out with during a con. I have the monotone Delightful accent ingrained too. :)
I went to get my weekly dose of herbal vitamins and healthy junk from Rite-Aid tonight and saw they were selling the Spider-Man 2 DVD. Grabbed it, and later found out my neighbor has a decent quality bootleg version already. Wasted money. Waaah. :(
But at least I got to download and watch Team America. It was retarded. :D
Hold on a sec...
*Kills the immensely large fly that managed to get in room even though my door's shut*
Rest in pieces, you buzzing bastard.
Well, to tell the truth, he's still in one piece. I squished him with a Priority Mail envelope while he was on the ceiling... and there is where he still is. Had to do a Michael Jordan just to reach it. He dead though., and that's all that matter. Hope he don't drop down my shirt the next time I pass under him.
That would make me scream like a little girly-man.
